It was recently announced that Lowes Financial Management has been acquired by Saltus – a move that significantly reduces the distribution channels for those looking to invest in Structured Products.

Lowes had been a specialist distributor and major player in the Structured Products market since their introduction into the UK in the 1990’s. Until recently, they’ve marketed products through their Compare Structured Products website. Their acquisition by Saltus means that clients will no longer have the option of dealing with them directly to buy Structured Products. Their withdrawal from this market follows a similar decision in recent years by the likes of Cavendish, which means that there are now only a handful of specialist Structured Products distributors for investors to choose from.
